Unanimous Entertainment is an independent film production company founded by Chris Coen in 2001 with the aim of producing high-calibre and commercial feature films.

The company currently has two films in production:

‘Shadow Dancer’, written by Tom Bradby, directed by James Marsh and starring Andrea Riseborough and Clive Owen. Financed by Wild Bunch, BBC, UKFC and IFB with Wild Bunch is attached to sell. Post Production. World Premiere at the Sundance Film Festival January 2012.

‘Single Shot’, written by Matthew F Jones and directed by David Rosenthal. Produced by Chris Coen along with Keith Kjarvel and Aaron Gilbert. Cast includes Sam Rockwell, William H Macy, Juno Temple and Juliet Lewis. Unified Pictures attached to co-produce and sell with Bron Studios as co-producers. Shooting is due to begin in April 2012.

Unanimous also has more than 15 projects in development with talent including: Ron Bass (‘Rain Man’, ‘My Best Friend’s Wedding’, ‘Sleeping With the Enemy’); James Marsh (‘Man on Wire’, ‘The King,’ ‘Red Riding’); Paul Andrew Williams (‘London to Brighton,’ ‘The Cottage’); Keith Gordon (‘Waking the Dead’, ‘The Singing Detective,’ ‘Dexter’); Simon Barry (‘Art of War’); as well as other exciting and emerging talent from both the UK and US.

Previous titles from Unanimous include:

‘Funny Games’ – Michael Haneke’s first English language film starring Naomi Watts, Tim Roth, Brady Corbett and Michael Pitt.

‘Wristcutters; A Love Story’ – Award-winning festival favorite ’, directed by Goran Dukic and starring Patrick Fugit, Shannyn Sossamon and Tom Waits.

‘Deepwater’ – Directed by David S. Marfield and starring Lucas Black, Peter Coyote, Mia Maestro and Leslie Anne Warren.

‘Protect, You + Me’ – Short film directed by Brady Corbett and starring Daniel London. Premiered at the Sundance film Festival in 2008.

Future plans include an aggressive push to produce 2-3 films per year over the next 5 years, all the while keeping a strict focus on high quality and commercially viable fare.
